Match Meeting Specialist (Volunteer) Description

Our Match Meeting Specialists work with the Sunshine social service staff to support the potential introductions of potential home provider and home seekers who are meeting for the first time. In this position you will work with the social work team and support the coordination and organizing of match meetings. This includes phone calls and home visits, data base entry, and supporting the social work staff. Help with outreach and marketing would be a giant plus!
Driver's License Needed, Background Check, Training provided, Possibly 3-6 hours per week
Experience working with older adults preferred, flexible, good people skills, empathetic, organized and a self starter.

Social Work Intern

Internship Description
We are looking for an MSW intern. Students will have the opportunity to meet with clients, perform client intakes/assessments, and work with our small team of social workers. We have a Financial Wellness program for older adults and students would have the opportunity to learn about the Financial Social Work model.
As a small, newer organization, our staff and students experience all aspects of working and running an organization. A passion for working with older adults and aging in place is preferred as we are working to help our older adults to remain in their homes and in their neighborhoods. A student who prefers a work environment with the ability to work independently and within a team and who is a self-starter will thrive in our organization. There is also the opportunity to do community outreach, grant writing, program development, and events as we are small and wear many hats. Must also be comfortable visiting older adults in their homes. Hours are flexible and students can partially work from home.
